Today we hit the halfway point!! We also saw another bear, the 3rd one of the trip. We also got our first rain of the trip overnight. We got a slow start this morning after a somewhat restless night due to wildlife and the rain. We were cowboy camping until the mosquitoes started attacking, so we set up the tent. Then in the middle of the night a short thunderstorm rolled through, so we quickly put on the rainfly. We also had a noisy deer visit our campsite and wake us up twice. We have been told deer like to lick pee, and it seems like that is a true statement.
